Terms & Conditions

Effective date: June 2026  ·  Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern the web design and development services provided by Piedmondo ("we," "us") to clients ("you"). By hiring Piedmondo or making any payment, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Piedmondo builds custom websites for small businesses. The specific deliverables, timeline, and price for each project are agreed upon before work begins. Any scope changes after that agreement may affect cost and timeline, and must be confirmed in writing (email is sufficient).

3. Payment

Projects are billed at a flat rate agreed in writing before work begins. Payment is split in two: 50% is due upfront as a deposit before work starts, and the remaining 50% is due at completion, before the finished site is handed over or made live.

The upfront deposit reserves your project and is non-refundable once work has begun (see Cancellation). Accepted payment methods are confirmed per project. Monthly hosting or maintenance plans, where selected, are billed separately on a recurring basis (see Hosting & Maintenance).

4. Revisions

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as agreed at kickoff. Revisions are changes to existing content or design within the original scope. Requests that add new features, pages, or significantly change direction may be quoted separately.

5. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing the content, images, copy, and any other materials needed to build your site in a timely manner. Delays in providing materials may extend the project timeline. You confirm that any content you supply does not infringe on third-party copyrights or trademarks.

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final website files and content. Piedmondo retains the right to display your completed project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Third-party assets used in your site (fonts, stock images, icons, plugins) remain subject to their own respective licenses. We will notify you of any third-party assets that require a license on your end.

7. Hosting & Maintenance

Piedmondo delivers your completed website files to you. We are not responsible for ongoing hosting, domain registration, or platform upkeep unless a separate maintenance agreement is in place. We will help you get set up with a hosting provider but are not liable for third-party platform outages, pricing changes, or policy changes.

If you are on a monthly hosting or maintenance plan, continued hosting is contingent on that recurring payment. If a monthly payment is missed or fails, we reserve the right to suspend or take the website offline at any time until the account is brought current. The site is restored once payment resumes. This does not apply if you have purchased a one-time buyout and host the site yourself.

8. Limitation of Liability

Piedmondo's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business or revenue.

9. No Guarantee of Results

We build professional, well-crafted websites. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, search engine rankings, or traffic levels. SEO, marketing, and growth depend on many factors outside our control.

10. Cancellation

If you cancel a project after work has begun, any deposit paid is non-refundable. Work completed up to the cancellation point may be invoiced at a pro-rated rate. We reserve the right to pause or discontinue work if payment milestones are not met.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Oklahoma.

12. Website Demos & Outreach

As part of introducing our services, Piedmondo sometimes builds an unsolicited preview website for a business using that business's publicly available name, location, and general information, to show what a finished site could look like.

  • These demo sites are private — they are not indexed by search engines and are not promoted or linked anywhere publicly. The only way to reach one is a direct link we send.
  • A demo does not imply any existing relationship, affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement between Piedmondo and the business shown. It is a sample, built at our own initiative and expense, to illustrate our work.
  • Viewing a demo creates no obligation to respond, purchase, or continue any conversation.
  • Demo previews and outreach messages are samples and invitations to talk — they are not binding offers. No engagement, project, or payment obligation exists unless and until both parties confirm a project and its price in writing (email confirmation is sufficient).
  • If you'd like a demo of your business removed, just tell us — we take it down promptly, no questions asked.

13. Email Communications

Piedmondo sends occasional outreach emails to introduce our services to small businesses. Every such email identifies Piedmondo as the sender, includes a valid contact address, and explains how to opt out of future messages.

To stop receiving emails from Piedmondo at any time, reply to any message with “unsubscribe” or “stop,” or email piedmondosites@gmail.com directly. We honor opt-out requests promptly and within 10 business days, and we do not sell, share, or reuse your contact information for any other purpose.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. The current version will always be posted at this URL. Continued engagement with Piedmondo after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
